Cocobolo Rosewood Baltic Amber Sterling Silver Wood and Gemstone Hair pins

These elegant wood hairpins are hand sculpted in in beautiful Cocobolo Rosewood, known for its striking grain patterns and rich colors. Cocobolo is considered by some to be the most attractive of all the exotic woods and its one of my personal favorites.    Genuine Baltic Amber gemstones in an elegant sterling silver setting complete this original y original hair pin design.

This combination of Cocobolo and Amber is one I  keep coming back to in my hair jewelry because they compliment each other so nicely! Cocobolo Rosewood- (Central & South America) Variegated purple to red mixed with brown and black markings. A beautiful rosewood. 

We've been making wood hair pins for over 25 years. They have a specially designed shaped top and profile (curving in and back out again - like an hourglass) which helps them maintain a tight firm hold in the hair. Edges are smoothed and transitions are eased for a no snag safe hold in your hair.

At approx 5 3/4 inches in length, these hairpin is a good size for most hair types.

Each pin is individually handmade and may have some slight variations in appearance.
