I hand carve this barrette from Wenge wood. I then add a stunning gem grade rainbow moonstone cabochon in a elegant hand-made sterling silver setting. The moonstone cabochons sits a full 3/8 inch above the surface of the barrette, is easily viewable from all sides, and has outstanding color and gorgeous blue flash.
Size: Medium approx. 3" size of clip: 70mm / 2 3/4" Good barrette to pull back a section of normal thickness hair or all of fine hair.
Wenge- (Africa) Dark brown to Black with gray veins.

Barrette clips vary quite a bit in quality. We use only the highest quality French Barrette Clips on all our barrettes. They have proven themselves over time to be the best available.
