Chechen - (Metopium brownie - Mexico) Chechen is also known as Black poisonwood or Caribbean rosewood  Colors range from brown, pink, red, golden, and black all embedded with a shimmering iridescence. Photo is example of wooden hair clip in a specific wood type. Barrette clips vary quite a bit in quality. We use only the highest quality French Barrette Clips on all our wooden barrettes. They have proven themselves over time to be the best available.
