I hand carve this barrette from Wenge wood. I then add a stunning gem grade rainbow moonstone cabochon in a elegant hand-made sterling silver setting. The moonstone cabochons sits a full 3/8 inch above the surface of the barrette, is easily viewable from all sides, and has outstanding color and gorgeous blue flash not captured in the photograph!
