I hand sculpted this 6 1/4" long wood hair stick from great lakes birdseye maple, an extremely rare and prized variety of maple that gets its name from the tiny eyelike figures that swirl across its grain pattern. The focal points for this wooden hair stick is the 5mm round blue paua shell cabochon set in a sterling silver setting.

Can also be used as a shawl pin or sweater pin
